Nika Kurdiani

Nika has been a key member of TBC Bank Group since 2014. Previously, he served as Deputy CEO and oversaw several strategic areas, including payments, SME banking, the digital banking platform, brand customer experience, marketing, and PR. Kurdiani’s total professional experience in the banking sector exceeds 20 years and spans Central Asia and European countries.

Prior to joining TBC Bank Group, Nika Kurdiani held the position of Managing Director at Kaspi Bank, one of Kazakhstan’s leading retail banks.

At Bank Austria (UniCredit Group), Nika served as First Vice President for Retail Banking in the CEE region and was responsible for operations in Turkey, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and Serbia. At ATF Bank (UniCredit Group, Kazakhstan), he was Managing Director for Retail and SME Banking. Earlier in his career, Kurdiani also headed the retail business at Bank Republic Georgia (Société Générale Group) and held senior management positions at Bank of Georgia.

He holds an MBA from IE Business School, completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP) at IMD Business School, and earned a Master’s degree in International Economics from Georgian Technical University.

Nika Kurdiani has been recognized by EFMA and Mastercard as one of the world’s top three bankers in the SME segment. In 2025, he was awarded a state honor of the Republic of Uzbekistan — the Order of Friendship.
