IT Park Uzbekistan Holds Workshop on Entering the Tajik Market for IT Companies

During the event, experts presented a step-by-step approach to entering the Tajik market. The main focus was on developing a market entry strategy, building a partner network, local legislative requirements, and the nuances of doing business and interacting with local companies.

The practical part of the workshop featured presentations by entrepreneurs with many years of experience in the Tajik market. Nikolai Serkutan, founder of Launch Lab, spoke about a systematic approach to entering new markets and using AI tools to test business hypotheses. WYZO founder Abror Kholov, who has over nine years of experience in Tajikistan and Central Eurasia, presented a partnership model for market entry and discussed legal specifics and key risks. Mahmudjon Akhmedov, founder of ShamCRM, shared his experience of developing his company in Tajikistan, describing the journey from an idea to the first clients, as well as the mistakes made and lessons learned during the business scaling process.

In addition, representatives from IT Park Uzbekistan discussed current support programs aimed at developing startups, facilitating the international expansion of IT companies and their scaling in foreign markets, as well as the business support tools available for entering new markets.

The event concluded with an open Q&A session, during which participants could discuss their companies' challenges with the experts and receive practical recommendations based on real-world experience in the region.

These events help companies better understand the specifics of foreign markets, reduce risks during international expansion, and find new opportunities for business scaling in Central Asian countries.
