IT Park Uzbekistan Explores Strategic Partnership with Air Media-Tech in Creative Industries

IT Park Uzbekistan recently hosted a meeting with Air Media-Tech, a global leader in the influencer economy, to discuss collaboration on advancing the creative economy and supporting local content creators. Representing Air Media-Tech were Stepan Mikhailov, a seasoned entrepreneur in digital media; David Rost, General Director of Checkme.digital and incoming CEO of Air Media-Tech in Uzbekistan; and Irene Gross, Co-Founder and COO of Checkme.digital. The IT Park Uzbekistan delegation was headed by Mahliyo Muksinova, Services Export Development Director, and Jamila Khalibaeva, Global Marketing Director.

Air Media-Tech is a global leader in the influencer economy and a top YouTube partner, consistently ranked among the top three worldwide with a monthly reach exceeding 20 billion views. With collaborations involving over 3,000 bloggers across 40+ countries, the company is recognized as a pioneer in leveraging digital media for creative industries and has expanded into cutting-edge technologies such as EdTech, FinTech, and blockchain. Air Media-Tech’s global presence spans Eastern Europe, Canada, and the CIS countries, where it drives innovation in the digital landscape.

Discussions centered around Air Media-Tech’s interest in exploring opportunities in Uzbekistan, including the potential to open an office that can serve as a hub for technical support of their IT products—more than 30 in total—and for driving the development of YouTube content in the country. By potentially working directly with local content creators, Air Media-Tech aims to enhance the quality and reach of Uzbek digital content, positioning the country as a regional leader in the creative economy.

Following the meeting with IT Park, Air Media-Tech representatives held discussions with the Minister of Digital Technologies and later toured Uzinfocom to gain deeper insights into Uzbekistan’s digital infrastructure and technological landscape. The guests were also introduced to Uzbekistan’s business conditions for creative industry members, including incentives and resources to foster growth and innovation in the sector.

This potential partnership signifies a step forward for Uzbekistan’s tech and creative ecosystem, underscoring IT Park Uzbekistan's role in building international connections that foster innovation. With Air Media-Tech’s global influence and expertise, this collaboration promises to create new opportunities for local talent, technological advancement, and economic growth within Uzbekistan’s creative and digital sectors.
