Manufacturers are increasingly seeking advanced IT solutions and stronger local expertise in industrial automation. However, some production needs still rely on foreign technology providers, potentially leading to longer implementation timelines, more complex technical maintenance, and additional costs.
During the meeting, the parties discussed ways to increase the participation of IT Park members in automating light industry enterprises. Particular attention was given to developing specialized talent, introducing modern technologies, and establishing direct connections between manufacturers and local technology developers.
The MoU outlines several key areas of cooperation:
For IT Park Uzbekistan members, this initiative creates additional opportunities to enter the industrial sector. Technology companies will be able to implement their solutions at manufacturing facilities, expand their portfolios of industry-specific projects, and develop products tailored to actual production needs.
In the longer term, the planned cooperation aims to build a local industrial automation ecosystem, giving light industry enterprises access to technological solutions and qualified technical support within Uzbekistan.
These efforts are expected to reduce reliance on foreign providers, strengthen the technological independence of local manufacturers, and create new market opportunities for IT Park Uzbekistan members.
