Global Trends and Uzbekistan’s IT Sector: Participation in the Gartner Tech Growth & Innovation Conference

The Permanent Representative of IT Park Uzbekistan in the United States, Elbek Kariev, participated in the Gartner Tech Growth & Innovation Conference 2025, held in Dallas, Texas, USA. The event brought together industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and artificial intelligence experts to discuss the latest advancements in technology and the impact of generative AI (Gen AI) on various economic sectors.

    Why is this significant?

The Gartner Tech Growth & Innovation Conference 2025 is a premier event for technology and service providers seeking to accelerate growth and drive innovation in a rapidly evolving market. Organized by the renowned analytical firm Gartner, the conference offers participants access to cutting-edge insights and strategies for success in the technology industry.

The conference highlighted the latest trends in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, product management, and platform innovation. Industry experts provided in-depth analyses of these areas, which are particularly critical in the context of the fast-paced technological landscape. Attendees praised the high quality of the presentations and the opportunity to engage with advanced analytical data.

A key focus was on interactions with Gartner analysts and participation in the Chief Product Officer (CPO) program, fostering productive discussions and expanding networks with leading experts and professionals. The event’s emphasis on generative AI, cybersecurity, and the presence of diverse companies — from product innovators to cloud service providers—significantly enriched the networking experience.

    Capgemini

Elbek Kariev, IT Park Uzbekistan’s representative in the U.S., held a meeting with Keith Glendan, Senior Director of Solutions and Software Innovation at Capgemini Engineering R&D. During the meeting, Elbek Kariev presented Uzbekistan’s potential as a new IT hub in Central Asia.

Capgemini, founded in 1967 in Grenoble, France, is one of the world’s largest consulting firms specializing in management and information technology. Headquartered in Paris, Capgemini reported revenue of €22.5 billion in 2023. The company operates in over 50 countries and employs approximately 360,000 people. Its core activities include consulting, technology and engineering services, and outsourcing, with key sectors spanning manufacturing, financial services, energy, consumer goods, public sector, and telecommunications.

    Atos

Elbek Kariev also held discussions with Larry Bissinger, Vice President and Head of Alliance Ecosystem for North America. The parties agreed to hold another meeting in early April in Chicago. During the talks, the IT Park representative highlighted Uzbekistan’s potential and proposed the establishment of an office in the country.

Atos, a French corporation, specializes in systems integration, IT consulting, business process outsourcing, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and big data management. With a presence in 69 countries and around 48,000 employees, Atos is committed to leveraging digital technologies to enhance critical aspects of its clients’ operations and societal impact.

    Pegasystems

The conference also featured a meeting with representatives from Pegasystems (Pega), a leading developer of software for workflow automation and AI-driven decision-making. Pega provides a low-code platform for developing, deploying, and managing enterprise applications. The company is renowned for its solutions in business process management (BPM) and customer relationship management (CRM), offering both on-premise and cloud-based platforms, including Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.

The IT Park representative arranged a follow-up meeting with Pega’s global expansion team in Boston, scheduled for May 2025, to discuss potential collaboration and the establishment of an outsourcing center in Uzbekistan.

Founded in 1983 and headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Pegasystems specializes in CRM, intelligent automation (AI), decision-making (Decision Hub), robotic process automation (RPA), and BPM.

    Salesforce

Elbek Kariev met with Serdar Susuz, CEO of Inspark, representing Salesforce in the APAC and MENA regions. With plans for expansion, Inspark was briefed on IT Park’s current achievements and programs. Elbek Kariev extended an invitation to participate in ICT Week in Uzbekistan, scheduled for September of this year.

Salesforce, founded in 1999 and based in San Francisco, California, is a leading cloud software company providing CRM solutions, as well as platforms for marketing automation, analytics, artificial intelligence, and application development.

Participation in the Gartner Tech Growth & Innovation Conference significantly expanded knowledge and established valuable professional connections. The insights and business relationships gained will play a crucial role in implementing growth strategies and driving innovation in IT Park’s projects in Uzbekistan, contributing to their continued development and success.
