IT Park Uzbekistan Discussed Collaboration with the France-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce

IT Park Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with the France-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce (CCIFO) led by its Chairwoman Ms. Joanna Golas with the participation of Ms. Makhliyo Muksinova, Services Export Development Director. The discussions centered on the potential conclusion of a Memorandum of Understanding, the expansion of IT services exports, the facilitation of collaboration between technology enterprises in Uzbekistan and France, and the attraction of French investment into Uzbekistan’s IT ecosystem.

The primary focus of the dialogue was the advancement of cooperation between IT companies from both nations, the enhancement of IT service exports, and the integration of French investment into the local IT sector. During the meeting, IT Park Uzbekistan outlined the country’s IT business landscape, highlighting the tax and customs incentives available to member companies, existing support programs for technology enterprises and startups, and initiatives aimed at fostering international partnerships. Special emphasis was placed on the “Zero Risk” program, which provides foreign IT companies with complimentary office space and infrastructural support during their initial phase of operation in Uzbekistan.

    Why is this important?

The France-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce (CCIFO) serves as a critical platform for facilitating negotiations, knowledge exchange, and the development of business relations between companies in France and Uzbekistan. The organization actively collaborates with government institutions, assists entrepreneurs in securing investments, and promotes business initiatives. Cooperation with the Chamber is expected to offer Uzbek IT companies with opportunities to participate in major French technological events, including Viva Technology Paris.

Makhliyo Muksinova, Services Export Development Director at IT Park Uzbekistan, emphasized:

"France is one of Uzbekistan’s strategic partners in IT services export. We recognize substantial potential for collaboration, particularly in IT and business process outsourcing. The establishment of French enterprises within Uzbekistan will contribute to job creation and reinforce country's position as a global IT hub. In turn, this will enable French companies to leverage Uzbekistan’s talent pool and expand their operations into new markets under favorable business conditions."

IT Park Uzbekistan remains committed to broadening its international engagement by attracting foreign enterprises and fostering a conducive environment for their operations. Uzbekistan is solidifying its position as a promising center for digital innovation in the region, offering tax incentives, a business-friendly environment, and access to a rapidly growing pool of IT professionals. Strengthening partnerships with French companies is poised to unlock new avenues for IT services export, the adoption of cutting-edge technologies, and increased investment in the local IT ecosystem.
