On November 29, the Uzbekistan Embassy in the United Kingdom hosted the international conference “Uzbekistan —  New Outsourcing Hub in Central Asia”. During this event, meetings were held with representatives of major IT and BPO companies such as Clarivate, Aktsiz, Tata Consultancy, Everest Group, and Konsentriks.

The event was attended by high-ranking representatives from the ministry and leaders of IT companies. The main topics of discussion centered around systemic reforms and prospective plans implemented in Uzbekistan’s IT sector, including matters related to increasing the export volume of IT services and software products to $5 billion, as well as ensuring employment for 300 thousand young individuals in the IT sector.

On November 30, within Call & Contact Center Expo exhibition, a meeting took place with major call center companies worldwide, as well as representatives of small and medium-sized businesses.

The parties discussed the possibilities of including Uzbekistan among the top 20 outsourcing countries.

All participants were invited to the Offshore Outsource Tour scheduled for the first quarter of 2024. This event will allow them to familiarize themselves with the business environment and explore opportunities for establishing their representation in our country.
