The discussions focused on the current landscape of Uzbekistan’s game development industry, the potential market entry of Gaijin Entertainment, and the prospects for establishing a local presence.
Gaijin Entertainment is one of the world’s leading developers and publisher of online video games, renowned for such titles as War Thunder, Crossout, and Enlisted. Founded in 2002, the company is headquartered in Hungary and maintains offices in Cyprus, Armenia, Germany, and other countries.
Education as the Foundation for Industry
A key topic of discussion was an educational program developed by Gaijin Entertainment, which could be provided to the Republic of Uzbekistan free of charge for implementation in local universities. The initiative aims to foster interest in the gaming industry among youth and to lay the foundation for growth of the game development sector in the country.
