On October 13, a meeting was held in Tashkent with representatives of projects implemented by the German Agency for International Cooperation (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit, GIZ) across Europe, Central Asia, and the Caucasus. The participants visited Uzbekistan as part of the Inclusive Green Transition in Central Asia study program, focused on an inclusive transition to a green economy and exploring sustainable development practices.

The meeting was held with the participation of the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan and IT Park Uzbekistan. Discussions focused on Uzbekistan’s experience in digital transformation, IT industry development, support for technology entrepreneurship, and the training of qualified professionals.

International Exchange of Experience in Digital Transformation

The international delegation included representatives of GIZ-implemented projects in Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Armenia, Moldova, Serbia, Kosovo, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan. Their areas of work encompass green economy development, vocational education, private sector support, employment promotion, and sustainable economic development programs.

The study program, taking place on October 13–15, 2026, aims to facilitate international knowledge exchange and explore approaches to economic transformation, professional skills development, and stronger interregional cooperation.
