IT Park Representatives held a meeting with CODA in Beijing

 

As part of the IT Park Uzbekistan delegation’s official visit to China, a meeting was convened with the China Overseas Development Association (CODA), attended by representatives from several prominent Nanjing Dingshan​​​​​​ Information Technology, Nettrix Information ​​​​​Industry (Beijing), iMediway Technology and Huilan Technology.

 

 

The China Overseas Development Association, a nationally accredited public organization, plays a crucial role in facilitating the implementation of state policies and projects under the “Belt and Road Initiative”. Additionally, the association provides support to Chinese companies in their endeavors to expand into international markets and attract foreign investments.

 

During the meeting, the Chinese delegation was briefed on the the dynamic growth of Uzbekistan’s digital economy and the exceptional business conditions available for ITES and outsourcing companies in the country. The IT Park Uzbekistan team presented a range of unprecedented government support programs, including Zero Risk, Softlanding, and Regional HQ — which are designed to enable organizations focused on intensive scaling to concentrate their resources towards priority business objectives.

 

 

Members of the association expressed keen interest in Uzbekistan’s IT market and are planning an imminent visit to the country to assess its infrastructure and conduct preliminary market research, with a view to considering Uzbekistan as a potential location for their headquarters.

 

This engagement is anticipated to create significant opportunities for Uzbekistan’s IT sector to establish partnerships with Chinese companies, while also offering high-value employment for local IT and BPO professionals, particularly those fluent in English and Chinese, with over 5 million and 10,000 speakers, respectively.
