IT Park Delegation Showcases Uzbekistan’s IT-Es Business Potential in Orlando

A delegation from IT Park Uzbekistan, led by Executive Director Abdulakhad Kuchkarov and joined by Advisor to IT Park CEO Ahmed Aboulezz, conducted a productive visit to Orlando, promoting Uzbekistan as an emerging hub for outsourcing and IT services. During the visit, the IT Park delegation participated in prominent international events, including the ICMI Contact Center Expo and Gartner IT Symposium/Xpo™, and engaged in a series of meetings with representatives from global IT and outsourcing firms.

The ICMI Contact Center Expo, an international exhibition that gathered experts and professionals in customer service management and outsourcing. IT Park Uzbekistan presented the country as an attractive destination for contact center operations, emphasizing the country's tax advantages, advanced IT infrastructure, and comprehensive government support. During the event, the delegation established connections with over 1,000 professionals and representatives from more than 100 companies, fostering dialogue on emerging technologies and innovative strategies for customer service.

The ICMI Contact Centre Expo featured an IT Park stand with detailed information on the country's outsourcing capabilities, underscoring Uzbekistan's key advantages for conducting business. Particular interest from the exhibitors was expressed in the country's human potential - multilingual local specialists and high literacy rate are highly regarded by potential partners and strengthen the country's investment appeal.

Moreover, as part of the event, fruitful discussions were held with a range of companies on potential avenues for business process outsourcing, IT services, and customer service management. Among those engaged were NearShore Elite, AssisTT, Abignet, Inc., Calusa Marketing, Zoho, OneCause, Content Guru, and CarID, each of which demonstrated interest in examining the Uzbek market and evaluating Uzbekistan as a prospective location for establishing offices.

IT Park also actively engaged in networking sessions, fostering connections with a number of companies, including Nice and Premier BPO. These meetings opened opportunities for further collaboration and the strengthening of partnerships within the IT and outsourcing sectors.

A highlight of the delegation’s visit was a meeting with Mr. Rohit Gupta, President of Venturesathi. The company he manages is headquartered in India with its corporate office in the USA. Rohit Gupta expressed strong interest in Uzbekistan's business potential. In March 2025, he plans to visit Uzbekistan with the CEO to explore the Uzbek market and assess the possibility of opening an office.

It is noteworthy to highlight the discussions conducted with Sean Effune, President of Afrishore BPO. He expressed his admiration for the conditions available in Uzbekistan conducive to the development of the outsourcing business and the supporting programs in place. Mr. Effune expressed interest in visiting Uzbekistan in 2025 to gain a deeper understanding of the country's landscape and its business environment. Additionally, the IT Park delegation engaged in discussions regarding the potential for partnership with Premier BPO, which specializes in customer service support and outsourcing, as well as with distinguished companies such as Genesys and Cognigy, which actively implement advanced solutions for contact centers.

In conjunction with its participation in the ICMI Contact Center Expo, the IT Park delegation also attended the Gartner IT Symposium/Xpo™.

This prestigious international event convened over 9,000 executives and specialists from 3,000 companies, serving as a vital platform for Uzbekistan to present its strategic capabilities in software development, cloud solutions, and digital transformation.

The IT Park team successfully established connections with ten companies, including Opto, Zylo, Yellow AI, Skillsoft, Eventi, Cora, EPAM, Raah Technologies, Zenoptics, and Prosymetry. A number of these organizations conveyed their willingness to engage in discussions regarding potential partnerships in the near future.

Furthermore, IT Park explored partnership opportunities with companies such as GTB Technologies, Datamatics, DataBricks, and ServiceNow, underscoring the increasing interest of global players in Uzbekistan as a promising IT hub.

A significant element of the visit involved a meeting with representatives from the Orlando Economic Partnership (OEP), where discussions centered on collaborative opportunities within the technology sector and attracting investment from the United States. The representatives of OEP — Derek Efrem, Director of Economic Development, and Destin Wells, Senior Vice President of Economic Development — demonstrated keen interest in the prospects offered by Uzbekistan for foreign enterprises, including tax incentives available and comprehensive measures designed to support the growth of the IT sector in the country.

The visit of the IT Park Uzbekistan delegation to the United States not only bolstered Uzbekistan's international standing by drawing the attention of global companies to the expanding opportunities in the outsourcing and IT sectors but also opened new avenues for job creation. It is noteworthy that 45% of IT and outsourcing services exported from Uzbekistan are directed towards the North American market, establishing our country as a significant partner in the region. The expansion of collaboration with international partners and the attraction of foreign investment contribute to the advancement of digital infrastructure, enabling to generate increased employment opportunities for youth and professionals within the IT services domain.
