During the meeting, company representatives shared current market needs and identified priority areas that require further development in response to the growing demands of the IT industry.
One of the key topics was cybersecurity. Participants emphasized the need to further develop relevant educational programs and train qualified specialists in information security who can meet modern industry requirements.
The participants also discussed the need to further develop the artificial intelligence field, strengthen relevant competencies, and train specialists capable of applying AI technologies to real business challenges and creating competitive technological solutions.
Particular attention was also given to the development of soft skills. Business representatives noted that, alongside technical expertise, communication, teamwork, critical thinking, leadership, and other transferable skills are becoming increasingly important for effective work in IT companies.
In addition, the participants discussed student internships and practical training. Opportunities to strengthen cooperation between students and companies, as well as the organizational and legal aspects of internships, were considered. One of the proposed mechanisms was a tripartite agreement between the university, the student, and the company.
Another important area was the development of educational programs in line with market needs. IT Park members outlined current requirements for specialists and emphasized the importance of taking real business needs into account when designing and improving academic programs.
The meeting served as an effective platform for open dialogue between the university and the IT industry, enabling business representatives to directly share current market needs, expectations for specialists, and proposals for improving talent development.
Cooperation between IT Park Uzbekistan, universities, and IT Park members is aimed at advancing high-potential areas of the IT industry, preparing qualified specialists, and building a strong talent pool capable of supporting the continued growth of Uzbekistan’s digital economy.
