Checklist for Successful Launch and Scaling: IT Park Training for Members in Preparation for LEAP 2025

As part of the Local2Global program, designed to support local companies in accessing international markets, IT Park has developed a comprehensive checklist featuring practical tools and recommendations for scaling businesses abroad. The primary objective of this checklist is to structure tasks and formulate actionable plans to ensure effective outcomes.

The first training session on utilizing the checklist was conducted by IT Park Uzbekistan’s experts to prepare member companies and startups for participation in LEAP 2025. Among the participants were Dataprizma LLC, Testbor.com, WellTech LLC, KPI.COM, EDSMART LLC, Onebuy Technology, iQtidorly, PDP EcoSystem, Sarmo Labs, and XCDM.

LEAP is a prestigious global event that convenes the international technological ecosystem to harness the boundless potential of innovation in building a promising future. The forum hosts over 1,100 distinguished speakers, 1,000 innovative exhibitors, and more than 215,000 attendees from across the globe.

"IT Park serves as a platform that provides its residents with opportunities to enter international markets and encourages them to adopt innovative thinking," noted IT Park’s Executive Director, Abdulakhad Kuchkarov. "One such initiative is the Local2Global program, enabling companies to identify new growth opportunities, penetrate emerging markets, and operate effectively within them. We are committed to developing impactful support programs, driving company growth, and bolstering their competitive positions on the global stage."

What Does the Checklist for Startups Include?

    1. Preparation Before Market Entry:
    • Development of an English-language website.
    • Optimization of LinkedIn profiles.
    • Preparation of tailored portfolio versions for different types of clients.
    • Creation of business cards in English and the target market's language.
    1. Participation in Exhibitions and B2B Events:
    • Preparation of corporate profiles, presentations, and videos.
    • Establishment of preliminary contacts through email and LinkedIn.
    1. Marketing and Promotional:
    • Active promotion of participation in targeted social media platforms.
    • Development of a post-event strategy: photos, reports, CRM updates.
    1. Logistics and Organization:
    • Testing and packaging of demonstration products.
    • Planning meetings and attending additional events in the host city.
    • Engagement in networking sessions.

Significant attention during the training was devoted to the development of professional teams tasked with managing international sales and fostering long-term relationships with foreign partners. In particular, companies intend to establish dedicated departments specializing in sales and international relations, ensuring that employees can represent the organization on a permanent basis. To achieve this objective, it is crucial to invest in equipping these employees with key competencies essential for successful entry into export markets, including strategic planning, negotiation techniques, sales management, and a thorough understanding of international standards.

Throughout the training, participants not only adapted the provided checklists to align with the unique requirements of their companies but also received actionable insights and practical recommendations on strategic brand development, streamlining marketing processes, and executing projects effectively on the global stage. These tools are designed to empower companies to secure a competitive position in international markets, attract the attention of partners and investors, and deliver compelling presentations of their products and services.

IT Park remains steadfast in its commitment to providing comprehensive support to its members, creating an enabling environment for their growth and strengthening their global competitiveness. IT Park specialists assist startups in developing essential skills, accessing new markets, and adopting cutting-edge approaches to achieve ambitious goals.
