SupplyPike: Another Uzbek-Founded Startup Achieves Success in the United States, Acquired for $200 Million

During a business visit by an IT Park Uzbekistan delegation led by Executive Director Abdulakhad Kuchkarov, a meeting was held with Kanat Bektemirov, co-founder and CTO of SupplyPike. He played a pivotal role in the development of the project, subsequently sold for $200 million.

SupplyPike is a software development company headquartered in Rogers, Arkansas, providing automated solutions for deduction management, compliance, and cash flow optimization for retail suppliers, which include prominent clients such as Johnson & Johnson, Dr. Pepper, and Energizer. The platform integrates with major retailers such as Walmart, Amazon, and Target, streamlining supply chain processes and reclaiming lost revenues. As of 2024, SupplyPike has approximately 130-160 employees and has attracted a cumulative investment of $40-25 million. In August 2024, the company was acquired by SPS Commerce, a publicly traded entity on NASDAQ.

Mr. Bektemirov was born and raised in Nukus and moved to the United States at the age of 15, where he later graduated from the University of Arkansas. During his studies, he interned at leading tech companies such as Google and Amazon. Mr. Bektemirov joined SupplyPike at the early stages of product development, making substantial contributions to its growth and scalability. His achievements serve as an exemplary model for young entrepreneurs and startup founders, inspiring them to pursue ambitious goals within the tech industry.

In discussions with Abdulakhad Kuchkarov, Mr. Bektemirov expressed his intention to mentor emerging Uzbek entrepreneurs, sharing practical expertise and insights to assist startup founders in launching successful projects on the international stage. IT Park and SupplyPike have agreed to arrange a series of meetups in Tashkent and Nukus, during which Mr. Bektemirov will discuss his journey in building and scaling SupplyPike, overcoming challenges, and achieving significant results on a global scale.

These events will offer a unique opportunity for young Uzbek startup founders to gain inspiration, valuable guidance, and knowledge, equipping them for success in the technology and innovation sectors on the international stage, including potential entry into the U.S. market.

IT Park Uzbekistan aims to assist startups in their international expansion by providing access to expertise, mentorship, and necessary resources. Collaborations with accomplished entrepreneurs like Mr. Bektemirov allow Uzbekistan's young talent not only to gain inspiration from successful case studies but also to benefit from practical recommendations on project development and global market integration. This, in turn, will establish a platform for local startups, fostering foreign investment and adapting their products to meet the needs of foreign markets. This approach reinforces Uzbekistan’s position as a promising technological hub in Central Asia and paves the way for sustainable growth within the innovation sector.
